My daughter and friend were visiting Chapel Hill for a Mock Trial competition on 2/4/10. On their way to a Walmart, they missed the Walmart and when they made a u turn their car slid on some ice and went into a ditch. Out in the middle of nowhere, they called the police. The police called this company to tow them out. AFTER the car was pulled out (my daughter said some big guys could probably pushed it out) she was told that it wouls be $150 IN CASH!!!!! The company would not take her credit cards because it was after hours;would not take a check because she was not local; AND WOULD NOT TAKE HER GEICO CAR INSURANCE!!! The supervisor told her they would keep her car unless she paid right then. The driver offered to take her to an atm but she doesn't use them.... was taken to a Walmart where she tried to get cash.
